2013 Yunlin Agriculture Expo- Food Adventure

The 2013 Yunlin Agriculture Expo was the county government’s first ever mega agricultural event. Interplan (formerly Uniplan Taiwan) designed the expo’s “Food Adventure” theme on three elements, “low carbon”, “sustainability”, and” no waste” by reusing recyclable containers, and plants and ponds from nearby to recreate a nature scene. The containers were built to create the false image of boarding a ship and for visitors to have an adventurous dining experience on a ship. This dining experience serves as a wakeup call to the citizens and to educate people on the importance of land and agriculture and to emphasize food insufficiency happening in places around the world.
