Project Description
In 2016, Kaohsiung City Government initiated the first Global Harbor Cities Forum. Topics of “Cooperation of Harbor Cities and Urban Planning”, “Industrial Transformation”, “Marine Tourism” and “Sustainable Development” were shared and discussed among the opinion leaders and representatives of harbor cities from 25 countries. A platform for opinion exchange and interaction were established and several agreements were signed. The second Global Harbor Cities Forum was held in 2018 with the theme “Here and beyond-Forces affecting our future.” Representatives from 65 harbor cities around the world attended the forum.
With the efforts that Interplan group assisted in topic and agenda management, venue and exhibition planning, VIP invitation and reception, opening and closing ceremony planning, dinner and tour planning, volunteer training and management. the Global Harbor Cities Forum is heading to the goal being a successful MICE event of Kaohsiung.
